TRACKCHAT | December Raceday | 15 December 2021

Here's your preview to our upcoming raceday, complete with Craig Baker's thoughts on the day's feature races, the track manager’s report and some tips from the office lads.

Track update

The Pukekohe Park track is rated a Slow 7 on Sunday afternoon.  With fine weather and windy conditions, the track should be a Dead 6 in the morning and improve from there during the day.

Feature race preview

Haunui 1400

Reverberations was good winning his Maiden at the track on 11 November.  He is drawn to advantage and looks ideally placed to make it two from two.   The dangers include Mr Jay Eight and Poverty Bay.

Manco 1400

The Landing looks a very promising three year old and, from a handy draw, looks well placed to win again.  It wouldn’t surprise to see him featuring in some of New Zealand’s better three year old races later in the season.  The dangers include Stars ‘N’ Cream and On Demand.
