Kids Duathlon Obstacle Course at Pukekohe Park attracts record crowd

On Tuesday 20th September, cars lined the paddocks and children were seen with their running shoes and bikes ready to race at Pukekohe Park.

BSG Events held their third Kids Duathlon Obstacle course at the popular venue which attracted a record of 420 entries this year.

The primary to intermediate aged children were sent for a run around the motor racing circuit and adjoining paddocks, jumping hurdles and climbing through tunnels. They then transitioned onto the bikes in Pit Lane, before cycling a lap of the motor racing circuit.

BSG Events coordinator Steven Brindle, stated the day went extremely well, with a lot of fun had by all of the young participants and older volunteers!

The winner of the Year 8 Girls Individual was Caitlyn Marx from Bombay School, and the Year 8 Boys Individual was Matthew Waddell from Pukekohe Intermediate School.
